  • Eat too much?

  • Spend too much?

  • Fix this problem?

Have you ever questioned whether you engage in activities such as eating, drinking, shopping, gambling, sex, compulsive spending, or some other activity excessively? However, you dismiss your concerns about excess by reassuring yourself that your job, relationships, and overall life have not been significantly affected. So, you convince yourself that your behaviors cannot be too bad and ignore the question.

Do you ever get a nagging feeling that tells you certain behaviors are no longer helpful? Our group session aims to explore why we fall into these patterns and how we can work on addressing and regulating them. These behaviors can often serve as numbing agents that worsen anxiety, agitation, depression, shame, and stress. Unfortunately, this can lead to more problematic behavior. In some cases, these behaviors can even spiral into addictive patterns if left unaddressed. Rest assured, our sessions will provide a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential environment to educate, support, and connect with others.

This group will meet once a week for six weeks to explore these problematic behaviors. This group is geared for those with mild to moderate concerns related to their substance use, spending, gambling, eating and compulsive behaviors. Please call the office today for more information!
